Students at Florida International University Tamiami campus will soon be able to live across the street.

The developers of The One at University City, an 886-unit student housing complex just north of Tamiami Trail, have opened an on-campus leasing office for rentals beginning in summer 2020.

VETERAN STUDENTS RECOGNIZED AT SPECIAL CEREMONY

 

Named after the first recipient of the G.I. Bill and generously sponsored by Global City Development, the $1,000 scholarship is bestowed on a veteran with a bachelor’s degree who has received admission to an FIU graduate school program for the upcoming semester.

BOARD OF GOVERNORS APPROVES ALUMNI, CONFERENCE CENTER AND HOTEL AT FIU

The new alumni, conference center and hotel will be across the street from a seven-acre property being developed by Global City Development. The mixed-use complex will eventually house approximately 2,300 students in two 20-story towers.
